What is the Policy Lab?
The Policy Lab develops and expands practice-oriented teaching across all master’s programmes of the Hertie School. Using a range of formats - from semester-long courses and two-day workshops to Policy Sprints and Policy Simulations - the Policy Lab combines scientific rigour with actionable insights to address real-world challenges
The Policy Lab is delivered by Hertie School faculty alongside leading practitioners, current and former diplomats, senior public servants, business executives, and leaders from European institutions, international organisations and non-profit organisations. The ambition of the Policy Lab is to enable students in all Hertie School master’s programmes to engage in practice-oriented courses with a strong experiential component.
