Who can apply?
To qualify for this certificate programme candidates have to meet the following criteria:
- Professionals at the mid to senior levels of their careers, including those holding positions such as Coordinator of People Management, or responsible for implementing and overseeing the execution of the people management programmes in the governments,
- They have preferably five to ten years of work experience in the public sector,
- They have completed a bachelors's degree – a master's degree or post-grad specialisation are desirable,
- They are a national of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
The submission of a CV and/or LinkedIn profile and a Letter of Intent is mandatory for the application. Only CVs are accepted. Lattes résumés will not be considered. Please answer following questions in your Letter of Intent:

After creating an account, please select "Executive Programmes" from the drop-down menu, then click on "Online Certificate in Strategic Human Resources Management" and complete the application form.
The closing date for applications is Sunday, 18 May 2025 (23:59 CET).
During the application process, you will be asked to upload the following:
- Your CV and/or LinkedIn profile. (English or Portuguese, in PDF format).
- A Letter of Intent (English or Portuguese, in PDF format, max. one page)
Applications without a CV or Letter of Intent will not be taken into consideration.
Day 1 promises an engaging beginning as we delve into the world of Human Resource Management (HRM) in the public sector. Expect insightful discussions about HRM principles, shared responsibilities, and international perspectives.
On day 2, participants will delve into topics related to "Public Sector Innovation".
Day 3 will discuss the role and potential of diversity as a tool for innovation in the public sector. The discussion will focus on the potential and challenges of a diversity-oriented approach to building more diverse and inclusive public policies, highlighting challenges and opportunities in this process with practical examples.
Day 4 participants will engage in hands-on exercises to improve their leadership skills. Participants will delve into three cornerstone leadership theories—trait, behavioral, and situational—to provide a comprehensive understanding of effective leadership practices.
Day 5 focuses on actionable strategies to bolster resilience within your institution. Following an engaging open plenary discussion, participants will conclude the session by crafting three key takeaways tailored to their unique work environments. Prepare to fortify your organization's ability to thrive in the face of adversity.
