The Atlantis dual degree is a joint programme offered by the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs in Syracuse, New York, and the Hertie School.

Dual degree students may not take a gap year and thus are unable to participate in the Hertie School's Professional Year programme.
Interested candidates should apply through the Hertie School's application portal either through the MPP or MIA application forms mentioning their Atlantis candidacy in the "Further information" section.
Students are encouraged to apply by priority deadline. Admitted candidates with financial need are eligible for 25% tuition waivers for their year at the Hertie School.
The final deadline for the Atlantis dual degree with the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs is 1 May of each year.
