Clemens Stiewe is a PhD candidate and Research Associate at the Centre for Sustainability and ARIADNE project. His research focuses on the design of decarbonised electricity markets. Prior to joining the Hertie School, he worked in energy and climate policy consulting, advising the governments of emerging countries on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the German Federal Ministry for the Environment. Clemens holds a Master of Science in Economics from the Freie Universität Berlin and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Sociology from the University of Potsdam.
