Francesca Giacco holds a Bachelor of Science in economics and social sciences from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and a Master of Science in data science for public policy from the Hertie School. Here, she specialised in machine learning, deep learning, text analysis and the use of statistical methods in the field of policy making. During her studies she worked part-time as a Project Manager at the Prototype Fund, an NGO supporting the development of public interest open-source technology. is interested in opportunities in the field of statistics and data science applied to social issues, such as gender discrimination, income inequalities and human rights.
