Master of International Affairs

Negotiation and mediation in international affairs

This course will explore two aspects of international governance: Methods of negotiation and mediation in international affairs, as well as decision making inside international organisations tasked to preserve peace. Using the concrete examples of the UN, the OSCE and the EU, the course will examine these organisations' contributions to the preservation of international peace, as well as the ways they used to make these contributions.

This course is for 1st year MIA students only.
