During the last weeks, we hosted our second Data4Good Festival, published our latest annual report, and covered Germany’s upcoming elections.
It’s February, time to welcome our students come back to class. Despite the holidays (and dreary weather), our university was busy hosting a major event and publishing research on topics ranging from social policy to nuclear policy:
- Professor of Sociology Michaela Kreyenfeld presented the latest government family report, which sheds light on family diversity and calls for reforms to reduce poverty risks for single parents in Germany.
- We hosted our second Data4Good Festival with our Data Science Lab, bringing together students from across Europe.
- We launched our call for submissions for the next Henrik Enderlein Prize – the deadline is quickly approaching!
- With zweitstimme.org, Director of the Data Science Lab Professor Simon Munzert and partners at the University of Mannheim and Witten/Herdecke University aim to enhance electoral forecasting in Germany.
- We published our 2023-2024 Annual Report, which covers the highlights from our 20th-anniversary year.
- Professor of International Security Tobias Bunde researches whether Germany’s Zeitenwende also brought a update to Germany’s nuclear policy.
- and much more!
