The group is the first Spanish member of the university’s alumni network.
On 28 November the Hertie School launched the Local Alumni Group in Madrid, the first in Spain. Prof. Thurid Hustedt, Dean of Graduate Programmes, shared updates from the Hertie School. Nena Grceva, Director of Alumni Affairs, discussed the recent expansion of the Hertie School global alumni network and new opportunities for alumni to engage with the university and the wider Hertie community. Ana Perez from the Student Recruitment team talked about plans to expand our recruitment efforts in the country and highlighted the critical role that alumni play as ambassadors for the school.
We warmly welcome Alberto Mercado (Master of Public Policy 2021) as a local connector in Madrid. He will join other dedicated alumni volunteers from around the world who are generously supporting the school with their time and talent and keeping our global alumni network thriving.
