New Alumni Council appointed for 2025–2028 term

The council advises the university’s management on strategic priorities and long-term development.

The Hertie School has appointed a new Alumni Council. Twenty alumni from across the Hertie School’s programmes and cohorts have been selected to serve on the council for the 2025–2028 term. With a strong commitment to representing the diversity and expertise of the school’s global alumni community, the council plays a key role in advising the management on strategic priorities and long-term development.

The Alumni Council serves as a key advisory body to the school’s leadership. Members meet three times a year to engage in strategic discussions with the management, offering insights from their professional and academic experiences. These sessions are designed to foster open dialogue, with both the school and council members contributing agenda items that reflect institutional priorities and the interests of the alumni community.

Members are selected from across all programmes and cohorts, ensuring a broad range of experiences, sectors and perspectives are represented. The selection process, led by the President of the Hertie School, aims to ensure diversity in gender, nationality, professional background and geographic location.
