Two Hertie School 2024 graduates are recognised for their excellent master’s thesis research.
The Centre for Sustainability is pleased to announce the winners of the first edition of its Outstanding Master’s Thesis Award: Greta Lotz (MPP 2024) for her thesis “The Impact of Carbon Taxes on Emissions – The Case of the Norwegian Transport Sector”, supervised by Prof. Johanna Arlinghaus, and Kai Foerster (MDS 2024) for his thesis “Predicting building age from 3D GIS, street view images and transaction data using machine learning”, supervised by Prof. Lynn Kaack.
Starting in academic year 23/24, Centre for Sustainability faculty will award excellent master's theses with the Outstanding Master's Thesis designation.
