GovTech Innovation Workshop “Bridging GovTech Ecosystems through Open Innovation: Ukraine x Germany”

Innovators, startups, ecosystem enablers, and GovTech leaders from Ukraine and Germany will come together at this hands-on event to explore scalable digital public infrastructure and co-create real solutions through open innovation.

We are pleased to invite applications for the upcoming workshop “Bridging Ukraine’s and German GovTech Ecosystems through Open Innovation”, taking place on 15 October 2025 at the GovTech Campus Deutschland in Berlin. This event is part of the GovStack Private Sector Forum for GovTech and is co-organized by GovStack, the Global Government Technology Center (GGTC) Kyiv, and the Hertie School Centre for Digital Governance.

This half-day, in-person workshop will bring together innovators, startups, ecosystem enablers, and public sector leaders from Ukraine and Germany to explore how open, scalable, and user-centred digital solutions can transform public services.

Participants will gain insights into leading open innovation initiatives such as GovTech Lab UA and the GovStack approach to Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). The programme includes an engaging fireside chat with GovTech leaders from both countries and a hands-on open innovation session where participants will tackle a real-world GovTech Challenge from Ukraine—working together to co-create practical solutions using the GovStack methodology.
