Get to know our 2025/26 Hertie School student ambassadors!

How heavy is the course load? What is it like to live in Berlin as a student? How does it feel to finally finish the application process? Our student ambassadors have the answers to these questions!

Meet Our 2025-2026 Hertie School Student Ambassadors!

Our group of 22 amazing Hertie School ambassadors come from eleven countries and are a mix of first- and second-year students from all four master’s programmes. They’re passionate, driven, and excited to share their experiences to help you understand why they chose the Hertie School.

As the admissions team, we’re here to guide you every step of the way through your application journey. While we can answer all your application-related questions, our student ambassadors offer something unique: their first-hand perspective on what it’s like to study at the Hertie School. They’ve been in your shoes and can share insights that go beyond the brochures, helping you picture what life at the Hertie School and in Berlin is really like.

By connecting with our ambassadors, you’ll get to meet potential classmates and gain an insider’s view of the admissions process and life at Hertie from someone who has been there. Our student ambassadors are here to support you, whether you’re feeling excited, nervous, or a combination of the two. They’re ready to answer the kinds of questions only a fellow student can!

How can you chat with a student ambassador?

Email them directly: Whether you have questions about the master’s programmes, study abroad, student clubs, or life in Berlin, our ambassadors are happy to share their personal experiences. Send your questions to student-ambassadors[at]hertie-school[dot]org, and one of our ambassadors will get back to you.

Join our admissions events: Whether online or onsite, you’ll most usually find a student ambassador at our events, ready to provide honest and informative answers to your questions.

What can you ask an ambassador?

  • What’s it like to live in Berlin as a student?
  • What does a typical week look like?
  • What extracurricular activities are available at the Hertie School?
  • Why did you choose the Hertie School?

These are just a few examples of questions that our student ambassadors can answer for you. Kindly keep in mind that the questions should surround their personal experience as a student, while all admissions-related questions should still be directed towards the Admissions Team.
