Insights from the Frontlines - A conversation with Ambassador Oleksii Makeiev

Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine has profoundly disrupted the international order and security. From the initial shock to Europe's determined response, followed by ongoing debates about arms shipments, the conflict has undergone numerous phases. Now, 804 days into the invasion, the Hertie School Diplomacy Club wants to engage in a conversation with His Excellency Oleksii Makeiev, Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany. In an open Q&A, we want to give students the opportunity to ask their most pressing questions about the Ambassador’s work during times of war and the Ukrainian perspective on current events.

This event is hosted by the Hertie School Diplomacy Club.
Prior registration is mandatory for the event.
