Brussels Alumni & Students Networking Event

Join the Brussels Alumni Chapter and the futurEU Club for an evening of reconnecting with fellow Hertians in Brussels!

For the third year in a row, alumni and students will come together in the political heart of Europe for an evening of networking and exchange. The programme offers a chance to build networks, discuss EU policy, and share career insights. The event will open with professional speed networking, followed by an alumni panel on European security policy, and conclude with a reception.

The panel, Rethinking Alliances: European Security in a Multipolar World, will bring together five alumni to discuss how Europe can navigate shifting geopolitical realities. The conversation will touch on the EU’s security role amid economic and technological dependencies, how it can strengthen its capabilities without duplicating NATO, and where new or underused alliances might offer strategic potential.
