Lukas Warode holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Bremen. At the Hertie School he was part of the first cohort of the MDS, while also representing the student cohort of 2023 in the second year of his studies. During his studies, he combined his interest in political science and data science and worked in different positions at the intersection of both fields. During his first year of his master's studies, he worked at Daniel Ziblatt's research unit Transformations of Democracy at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center. He then assisted the project Open Discourse in writing an academic report and software infrastructure to boost the project's visibility and usability. After that, he joined POLITICO as a Data Research Working Student.
