Jesse Wai is an MIA graduate who has roots both in the US and Macau, China. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in International Relations from San Francisco State University. After his undergraduate studies, Jesse worked as a law clerk at the Law Offices of Robert P. Gaffney, a law firm specialising in employment and investment-based immigration to the US. At the Hertie School, Jesse studied international affairs, specialising in human rights and global governance. He was also an organiser with Cinema Politica Berlin, a club that screens independent political documentaries. Jesse is interested in opportunities in human rights, international law, diplomacy, foreign affairs, and cultural policy.
