Laura Uribe has a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Relations from Externado de Colombia University and specialised for a year in sustainable development at American University. At the Hertie School, she focused on policy analysis. During her master's studies, she was a Graduate Consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank and the Digital Government Unit of the OECD. During her Professional Year, she worked at the German development agency GIZ for the SDG Monitoring and Evaluation Team. Laura has worked for the National Planning Department of Colombia, coordinating the development and monitoring of sectoral metrics and contributed to strengthening evidence-based decision-making by incorporating innovative methodologies such as evidence gap maps. Laura's interests include digital government and public innovation.
