Shruthi Naik holds a Bachelor of Arts and Law (Hons.) from National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. At the Hertie School, she studied public policy with a focus on policy analysis and was a member of the Student Advisory Board for the Centre for Fundamental Rights. Prior to joining the Hertie School, Shruthi was a Senior Research Fellow at DAKSH Society in India and worked extensively on research and policy in the areas of access to justice and judicial reforms. Her experience includes analysing judicial data and advising the government and judiciary, editing a book on the impact of judicial delays, leading large household surveys and undertaking research to advance access to justice. Her areas of interest include inequality, gender, political economy and accountability in governance.
