Dan Muncaster (he/him) graduated summa cum laude from the US Military Academy at West Point, receiving a Bachelor of Science in International History and German. He is a scholarship holder with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Rotary Club. At the Hertie School he studied public policy, specialising in policies that support refugees and measures to combat modern slavery. During his studies, Dan supported the state-run refugee shelter in Przemyśl, Poland, and was the President of the Hertie School Security Club. After graduation, he intends to pursue positions with the US government through the Presidential Management Fellowship. Dan is particularly interested in opportunities focused on refugees, anti-human trafficking and international security.
