Janina Lehmann holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Law from the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) near the Polish border, where she got to know and love the life in a German-Polish double city in the heart of the European Union. At the Hertie School, she studied international affairs with a focus on human rights and global governance. Alongside her studies, Janina worked as a Project Coordinator at Humanity in Action, a non-profit organisation that promotes human rights, pluralism and democracy. Janina is also the Chairwomen of the Supervisory Board of the Kreuzberger Kinderstiftung gAG, which works to promote educational justice and equal opportunities for people who receive little support from the education system or their social environment in Germany.
