Velislava Krachunova holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski", where she graduated as class valedictorian. At the Hertie School she studied international affairs and specialised in international security. During her master’s studies she also worked as a Student Assistant at the SCRIPTS Cluster of Excellence on a project related to the effect of the war in Ukraine on internet and data governance in emerging powers. Velislava has experience as an intern in the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU. She was a Young NATO and European Ambassador and is an active lecturer in Team Europe Junior Bulgaria, as well as a scholar of the OSCE - UNODA Scholarship for Peace and Security.
