Frances Klatt holds an MIA with a concentration in European governance from the Hertie School. Prior to studying at the Hertie School, Frances received a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Government (International Relations) and German from the University of Puget Sound. During her studies, Frances focused primarily on questions of democratisation, resilience, climate governance, as well as EU external relations. Between her bachelor's and master’s degrees, Frances received a Fulbright grant to teach English in Germany. During her time at the Hertie School, Frances worked part-time at the Jacques Delors Centre and completed an internship at the German Bundestag. Frances is particularly interested in pursuing career opportunities focused on EU external affairs.
