Alessandro Blank holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Modern History from the University of Zurich. At the Hertie School he studied international affairs, specialising in international security and completed an exchange semester at Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli (LUISS) in Rome. During his studies he focused on cybersecurity, digital policy, geopolitics, policy analysis and political risk analysis. His work experience includes an internship in the research and communications department at Polisphere and working for the public affairs department of the German AI Association, where he focused on AI and digitalisation policy in Germany and the European Union. Alessandro is particularly interested in contributing to innovative, inclusive and sustainable digital policies.
