Jakob Bechtolsheim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from University College Maastricht. At the Hertie School he studied public policy, specialising in management and leadership of non-governmental organisations and climate policies. In his third semester at Hertie, moreover, Jakob spent a semester abroad at Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli (LUISS) in Rome. During his Professional Year, Jakob worked as an Assistant to the managing directors at ProjectTogether and interned at the communication consultancy Kekst CNC. His other professional experience includes internships at Sky Germany, The Student Hotel and Wildling Shoes. During his master's studies, he worked as a part-time Assistant at the EnbW policy lobbying section. Jakob is particularly interested in topics related to energy and the work of NGOs.
