Aura Arbulu Vasquez is a lawyer with a strong interest in policy analysis. With experience in parliamentary affairs in Peru, she has honed her skills in political acumen, communication and critical thinking. During her time at the Hertie School, Aura further developed her policy skills, including research analysis, project management and quantitative analysis, to complement her existing expertise. She received her law degree from the Universidad de San Martin de Porres in Peru. Since moving to Germany, she has been involved in implementing projects that promote political education among young people around the world. Aura is particularly interested in opportunities related to decentralisation, elections and threats to democracy. She believes in making a positive impact through policy.
