Olivia Aitken holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours I) in Government and International Relations from the University of Sydney, Australia and an MPP from the Hertie School, Germany. At the Hertie School she specialised in policy analysis, with a focus on quantitative research methods, international law and political economy. Olivia participated in the prestigious Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition as a member of the Hertie School’s 2023 team. Previously, she worked as a Policy Officer at the Australian Human Rights Commission where she advocated for the protection of fundamental rights and contributed to reports on a range of issues, including the child protection system, human rights in sport and cultural diversity amongst Australia’s senior leaders.
