Zaira González Mora holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). She has five years of professional experience working in both the public and private sectors. Before starting her studies at the Hertie School, she worked at Actinver, one of Mexico’s largest investment banks. Prior to that, she worked at the Mexican Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, where she was the Deputy Director of Financial Planning and the Investor Relations Office of the Economic Planning Unit for over three years. During her master's studies, she specialised in policy analysis and quantitative methods and was also a core and active member of the Work, Economy and Social Policy (WESP) club at the Hertie School. Zaira is passionate about social policy issues and impact evaluation matters.
