Uni Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Social Work from Ewha Womans University. At the Hertie School she studied public policy, specialising in policy analysis for renewable energy and climate. During her Professional Year, Uni worked for the 2° Investing Initiative (2DII), where she assisted in the analysis of utility companies’ alignment with two-degree pathways. In addition, she was a Fellow at SD strategies, where she engaged in policy consultancy for low-carbon development in Africa. During her studies, she worked with a South Korean start-up 60 Hertz on the development of green power solutions. Prior to the Hertie School, she advocated for renewable energy policies at Greenpeace East Asia. Uni is particularly interested in using data science to inform policymaking.
