Tobias Knappe completed his dual degree with the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto where he obtained a Master in Global Affairs. During his master’s studies Tobias focused on policy analysis, security issues and transatlantic relations. At the Munk School, he worked on a capstone project for Global Affairs Canada on the topic of incentivising responsible business conduct in Canadian mining, garment and oil and gas companies operating abroad. Tobias gained professional experience through internships and part-time positions at the EU Liaison Office of Freie Universität Berlin, the German Bundestag and the European Parliament. He also worked for the International Organization for Migration in their Regional Office in Vienna on migration health issues.
