Sophie Witte holds a B.A. in Political Science from Heidelberg University including one year at Sciences Po Paris studying European security policy. Prior to her studies, she completed a two-year military service in the German Navy. Focusing on International Relations during her masters, she enrolled in the Atlantis dual degree programme with the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs in the U.S. where she specialized in transatlantic security. Subsequently, she pursued a second masters degree concentrating on internet governance at the Hertie School. Alongside her studies, Sophie completed her training as a Bundeswehr Reserve Officer specializing in Public Affairs and gained professional experience at the Federal Academy for Security Policy and the Munich Security Conference.
