Sofia Lai holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Milan. At the Hertie School she studied public policy, specialising in policy analysis with a focus on quantitative analysis. During her Professional Year Sofia completed an internship in EU Public Affairs at the Brunswick Group in Brussels and continued to work part-time as a Communication/Policy Advisor at the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA) for several months. In her final semester she worked as a Student Research Assistant at Goethe University Frankfurt, focusing on data scraping, -wrangling and -analysis. Sofia is particularly interested in opportunities related to data and policy analysis in the private and public sector.
