Sane Lei Nwe graduated from the University of Yangon in Myanmar in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in International Relations. Before joining the Hertie School, Sane interned at the Delegation of the European Union to Myanmar as a Public Diplomacy Trainee. Since she is interested in development-related issues, project management and digital rights, Sane worked as a Project Officer at the Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business, a joint cooperation of the Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB) and the Danish Institute for Human Rights, as well as working at the research organisation Mekong Economics. At the Hertie School, Sane specialised in public administration and her focus areas included employment policies and development economics as well as business and sustainable development.
