Philipp Mühl holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and International Organisation from the University of Groningen, where he graduated cum laude. At the Hertie School, he completed an MIA and specialised in international security, especially in strategy making and strategy implementation. He gained professional experience within the German Armed Forces and the German Federal Ministry of Defence through a Professional Year at BwConsulting – the in-house consultancy of the German Bundeswehr. Beyond that, he has worked in the areas of governmental affairs and public management consultancy. As Chairman of the association Atlantic Community, he is closely involved in transatlantic civil-society relations with a strong focus on international security.
