Nele Kokel holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the Technische Universität Dresden, including an exchange semester at Queen's University Belfast. After gaining experience by working in public sector consulting with a focus on digitisation, Nele pursued a dual degree with Bocconi University in Milan. At the Hertie School Nele specialised in policy analysis, with an emphasis on quantitative skills. At Bocconi University she majored in healthcare, especially health technology assessment and health economics. Her master's thesis examines ways in which health technology assessment could be expanded to the environmental impact of products and treatments. As a Working Student, Nele analysed German and European health policies.
