Laura Linde holds a law degree (Erstes Staatsexamen) from Freie Universität Berlin and a Master of Laws in Energy and Environmental Law from the University of Connecticut. During her Professional Year at the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV), Laura worked on European climate policy and decarbonisation of the industry. Her other professional experience includes internships at the International Carbon Action Partnership and Bird & Bird. During her MPP at the Hertie School Laura deepened her knowledge of climate and energy policy, including emissions trading, as well as sustainability and European governance. She also has experience in volunteering and social engagement as a leader for the Student Division of the German-American Lawyer's Association (DAJV) in Berlin.
