Kristina Fuerst studied a MIA with a focus on security and sustainability. During her exchange semester at the Elliot School of International Affairs she specialised in environmental security, conflict prevention and development policy and global gender policy. Kristina currently works as a Research Associate at the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies. Her research focuses on the social and political perception of sustainability technologies. She has gained prior work experience with the German Federal Foreign Office in New York City, as well as with the German development agency GIZ in Ethiopia at the African Union Office and in Berlin with the Global Energy Transition - Communication project. Kristina is particularly interested in the just energy transition, international cooperation and gender policy.
