Juan Ortegón is an Economist with a Master of Economics from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (PUJ) and holds a specialisation in social project evaluation from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. Additionally, at the Hertie School in Berlin Juan studied for his MPP, focusing on labour and education policies, digital governance and development. Juan's professional experience is broad and diverse. During his master's studies in Berlin, he worked for the OECD, researching and analysing recovery policies in Latin America and the Caribbean. In Colombia, he has worked for the Colombian public sector at the National Planning Department, advising and coordinating sectoral public policies. At the Cendex PUJ research centre, Juan worked as an Economic Consultant for projects related to public health.
