Jakob Hoffmann holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the University of Sussex. At the Hertie School, he studied public policy, specialising in energy and sustainability as well as policy analysis. During his studies, as well as his professional year he worked in the energy team of adelphi, a think tank and boutique consultancy focusing on climate, energy, and development. At adelphi he worked on national and international projects focusing on energy efficiency, renewables, and social aspects of the energy transition. Jakob is particularly interested in opportunities in the energy sector, specifically dealing with electricity market design and industry decarbonisation at the European and national level.
