Hendrike Braun-Issa holds a Master of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies from Goethe University Frankfurt. She finished her Executive MPA degree with a focus on digitalisation and managing change. She spent much of her career working in West Africa, predominantly helping the Government of Liberia implement an industrial policy, and promoting private sector development, specifically in the area of agriculture. For the past three years, she has been working with the German development agency GIZ to promote sustainable agricultural supply chains, with a special focus on promoting equity, especially for women, girls and other politically marginalised groups.
