Frida von Zahn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Maastricht University. At the Hertie School, she studied climate policy with an additional focus on urban studies during her semester abroad at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. During her Professional Year, she worked at the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection and at EBP Switzerland, where she focused on international climate mitigation in cities. She has also worked as a Student Assistant at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) and at the renewable energy agency Energieagentur Regio Freiburg. She is particularly interested in the interdisciplinary and international nature of climate mitigation challenges.
