Franziska Schade holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Göttingen. She completed her dual degree with Bocconi University, graduating with a Master of Science in Economics and Management of Government and International Organisations. Her areas of specialisation include management of business government relations and digital transformation of the public sector with a focus on how the collaboration with SMEs and start-ups could promote public sector innovation. During her Professional Year, Franziska worked at the public sector consultancy PD - Berater der öffentlichen Hand, focusing on the digital transformation, where she continued to work during her second year. Her other professional experience includes communication consulting, public relations for NGOs and academic research on sustainable development and SMEs.
