Ellipse Rath holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Hyderabad and was awarded the university medal for scoring the highest grades in her class. At the Hertie School, she focused on energy and climate policies. She is also the recipient of the Sustainability and Energy Policy Scholarship awarded by the Hertie School. Before joining the MPP programme, Ellipse worked at PwC India in their Economics and Public Policy Team, at the Indian Ministry of Finance in their Tax Policy Research Unit, at a financial services start-up FinTown and the Reserve Bank of India. During her master's degree, she worked at Guidehouse in Germany in their Energy, Sustainability and Infrastructure team. Ellipse is particularly interested in consulting opportunities in the energy and climate sector.
