Elena García Mañes holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Complutense University of Madrid and a Master in Corporate Communication Management from EAE Business School. At the Hertie School she studied public policy, specialising in policy analysis and quantitative methods. Prior to the Hertie School, she worked as an Intelligence Officer at Gestamp, a leading firm in the European automotive industry and as a Public Affairs Client Executive at Omnicom Public Relations Group where she worked with clients in the health, food, tech and transport industries. Her other professional experience includes internships at the European Commission, as well as four think tanks in Berlin and Madrid. Elena took the MPP as a Fellow of "la Caixa" Foundation, a prestigious merit-based scholarship.
