Clara Bluhm has professional experience in European policymaking, corporate communications and project management. Before her Master's degree, she worked as a PR consultant at the German weekly newspaper DIE ZEIT. At the Hertie School, Clara focused on public (change) management, regulatory governance, and the role of public preferences in policymaking, with an emphasis on social and climate policy. During her Professional Year at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, she worked on a wide range of European social and employment policy issues and gained in-depth experience with EU coordination within the federal government. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies and Political Science from Leuphana University Lüneburg with a semester abroad at Sapienza University in Rome. After graduation, Clara wants to continue working at the interface between public administration, politics and civil society.
