Caroline Cavallari holds a Bachelor of International Relations from São Paulo State University (UNESP) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from Insper. She was awarded the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Helmut-Schmidt scholarship to study public policy at the Hertie School, where she focused on policy analysis. During her master's studies, she worked at J-PAL Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) as a Summer Researcher and as a Teaching Assistant in Economics at the Hertie School. Caroline has experience in social impact and public policy implementation both in the public and non-profit sectors. Her previous experience includes supporting governments to improve education policies, leading the policy unit of an NGO and strengthening municipalities' health responses to the pandemic. She is especially interested in cross-cutting policies aimed at tackling inequality.
