Caitlin Sarro holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Public Affairs from the University of Illinois Chicago. At the Hertie School she studied public policy, specialising in policy analysis. During her master's studies she worked as a part-time Deputy Project Lead with the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network - Youth (SDSN Youth). At SDSN Youth she developed an SDG Literacy Toolkit for the global network of university hubs. Her other professional experience includes an internship at the Apolitical Foundation, contributing to the Oxford COVID-19 Government Response Tracker and at the Institute of Cultural Affairs in the USA. Caitlin is particularly interested in NGOs and civil society's role in governance, civic education, participatory planning, transnational networks and sustainability policies.
