Aleksandra Waliszewska is a multidisciplinary energy and climate policy analyst. During her time at the Hertie School she focussed on developing her toolbox of both qualitative and quantitative policy analysis skills. Her recent professional experience includes working on just transition policies at the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies, researching European transformational policies in the transport sector for Climate Analytics, as well as participation in a fellowship at the German Bundestag. Prior to joining the MPP programme, Aleksandra obtained a Master of Laws from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan with a particular focus on the EU, including an exchange semester at the University of Vienna and an exchange year at the University of Potsdam. She also advised on energy and environmental law matters at the international law firm CMS.
