Alan Ichilevici de Oliveira holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Campinas in Brazil. At the Hertie School he studied public policy, specialising in climate and sustainable development policies. During his Professional Year, he worked for the German development agency GIZ and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), where he contributed to greenhouse gas mitigation and climate action transparency projects in developing countries. His other professional experience includes working with sanitation in the Brazilian public sector and in environmental consultancy in the private sector. Alan is particularly interested in opportunities in sustainable development, climate action and international cooperation.
