Abhipsha Mahapatro holds a Bachelor of Media Studies in Mass Communication and Journalism and has over four years of experience working as a journalist and a development professional. Interested in evidence-based policymaking, she chose the policy analysis track at the Hertie School, with a focus on statistical modelling and quantitative methods (in R). During her Professional Year, Abhipsha worked with the German development agency GIZ on their 'Securing Nutrition, Enhancing Resilience' project where she gained experience in project coordination, knowledge management and research. Her master's thesis focuses on the resilience capacities of women working in nutrition gardens in India. Abhipsha is passionate about food security, the resilience of food systems and climate adaptation.
