Die Hertie School im Herzen Berlins und Europas ist eine international renommierte Hochschule für Politikgestaltung und gute Regierungsführung. In Masterstudiengängen, Doktorandenprogrammen und Executive Education-Kursen bildet sie Führungskräfte für Politik, Wirtschaft und Zivilgesellschaft aus. Unter dem Leitgedanken „Understand today. Shape tomorrow.“ forscht die Hertie School international, lehrt praxisnah und gestaltet ein Forum für die öffentliche Diskussion. Sechs Kompetenzzentren stärken die Expertise der Universität in den Bereichen Europa, Internationale Sicherheit, Grundrechte, Nachhaltigkeit, Digitale Steuerung und Datenwissenschaft. Die Hertie School wurde 2004 von der Gemeinnützigen Hertie-Stiftung gegründet und wird seither maßgeblich von ihr getragen. Sie ist Mitglied der Europäischen Hochschulallianz CIVICA, ist staatlich anerkannt und vom Akkreditierungsrat sowie vom Wissenschaftsrat akkreditiert.
